Smartride Safety

We, at SmartRIdes, are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation to all of our passengers. In order to ensure the safety of both passengers and drivers, we have created this safety pledge:

1. Driver screening: We will screen all of our drivers thoroughly, including background checks, driving history checks, and vehicle inspections, to ensure that they meet our high standards for safety.

2. Zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use: We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use by drivers. Drivers who are found to be under the influence will be immediately removed from the platform.

3. Safe driving practices: Our drivers are required to follow all traffic laws and to practice safe driving techniques at all times.

4. In-app safety features: We have implemented a number of in-app safety features, including the ability to share your ride with friends and family, a panic button that connects you directly with emergency services, and the ability to rate drivers and provide feedback on your ride.

5. Rider behavior: We expect all of our riders to behave in a respectful and responsible manner while using our platform. Any rider who engages in behavior that puts the safety of themselves or others at risk may be removed from the platform.

By taking these steps, we believe that we can provide a safe and reliable transportation option for all of our customers. We pledge to continue to prioritize safety in all aspects of our business, and to work tirelessly to earn and maintain the trust of our passengers and drivers alike.
